Sudan

A new phase of unrest in Sudan began in December last year. It was then that Sudanese tired of low wage went to first peaceful rallies. While the world media expressed support for the protesters, they faced first provocations. As soon as people announced a peaceful rally, provokers appeared an hour before the appointed time.

They blocked the roads with barricades, capturing everything on video. Police and armed forces tried to disperse the rallies, but after that there was no question of rallies.

This scenario was repeated again and again, the provocateurs found out the time and place of the peaceful rallies, appeared on the nearest streets shortly before the protesters and caused riots. Western media deliberately silent on this fact. But they excitedly told that the police and the army were dispersing peaceful protesters by publishing videos of fake ‘bloody massacre’.

The Transitional Military Council (current military body governing Sudan) promised to hold a new election in two years’ time. However, protesters continued to hit the streets, demanding the military to hand power to a new civilian government.
